Description:
The NWA acting on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development (MEGID) intends to procure the services of Contractors via the Open/National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procurement Methodology in the field of General Road Works to undertake road rehabilitation works within the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme, to widen Arthur Wint Drive, Tom Redcam Road and Camp Road, Kingston and Installation of Potable Water (Retender). The project will be split into three (3) packages as follows: Package A (Retender) – Civil Works – Widening of Arthur Wint Drive and Installation of Potable Water and Sewerage – CAPEX Programme (approx. 18 months duration) Package B – Civil Works – Widening of Tom Redcam Drive and Installation of Potable Water and Sewerage – CAPEX Programme (approx. 6 months duration) Package C – Civil Works – Widening of Camp Road and Installation of Potable Water and Sewerage – CAPEX Programme (approx. 15 months duration) Note: There are three (3) allotted packages, (A, B and C), in total for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme. However, at this time we are only inviting tenders for two (2), i.e. Packages A and C). Interested Contractors can bid on one (1) or all of the three (3) packages. To be considered eligible, bidders must submit the following with their bids: • A valid Tax Compliance Certificate/Letter (TCC); • A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate of Registration as a Public Sector Grades 1-4 Contractor in the category of General Road Works or Civil Engineering Works, Grade 1 minimum. Failure to submit the documents listed above shall result in the rejection of the bid.
