Description:
The NWA’s Planning and Research Directorate is seeking to solicit a contractor to supply and install new white thermoplastic road markings centerline, edge lines, pedestrian crossings and raised pavement markers from Pepper to Tombstone in the Parish of St. Elizabeth.
The responsive bidder will be required to submit one (1) 20kg to 25kg bag of the thermoplastic material, one (1) raised pavement marker, one sample (block) of the bituminous adhesive to validate the compliance with the technical specification requirements. The materials should be provided in the manufacturer’s packaging indicating brand, manufacture date, expiration date, etc at least one (1) week prior to their intended utilization date on the project.
The duration of the contract is for a period of four (4) months after contract signing.
To be considered eligible, bidders must possess the following with their bids:
• A valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC);
• A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate of Registration as a Public Sector Contractor in the categories of Road Maintenance Works, Grades 1-2 or General Road Works, Grades 1-2.
Failure to submit the documents listed above shall result in the rejection of the bid.
