E-LEARNING JAMAICA CO. LTD. INVITATION TO BID PROCUREMENT OF TABLETS FOR INFANT AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS ISLANDWIDE e-Learning Jamaica Company Limited, an Agency of the Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology (MSET), will be procuring 40,000 tablets over the next twenty-four (24) months for infant and primary schools island-wide. The tablets are to be supplied in two (2) tranches comprising 20,000 in Tranche 1 and 20,000 in Tranche 2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS To be considered eligible at the time of tender opening, your tender must include the following: • Copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) / Tax Compliance Letter (TCL) (In the case of foreign Bidders, where the bid is successful, the foreign bidder shall be required to provide a valid TCC / TCL at the time of the award of contract.) • Proof of current registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) / NCC in the category of Computers and Related Services OR Computers and Supplies (In the case of foreign Bidders, where the bid is successful, the foreign bidder shall be required to demonstrate proof of PPC registration at the time of the award of contract.) • Proof of local office or local authorized dealer • Completed and signed Manufacturer’s Authorization Form / Reseller Agreement from VAR • Power of Attorney authorizing the signatory of the bid to commit the bidder • Completed and signed Bid Submission Form • Bid Security Non-compliance with all or any of the criteria above will result in automatic disqualification of tender. SCOPE OF WORK Supply of tablets, maintenance and warranty support. AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS Bidding documents will be available for download as at October 28, 2019 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website – www.gojep.gov.jm. RETURN OF TENDERS Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm no later than December 6, 2019 at 3:00p.m. An online bid opening will take place on the same date at 3:15p.m. An online bid opening report will be sent to all bidders who submit a bid. This is an online Tender where tender documents and supplier bids will only be made available and accepted via the electronic Government Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm). No offline (hard copies) of bids will be accepted and there will be no physical tender box for drop-off of tender documents. To participate in this tender opportunity, suppliers must first be registered on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement System.
